Not sure what to say?

When I first meet Wendle in the early 70's he introduced to a game called quarters and many nights we sat in the Saxony Hotel and played for hours at a time. We played for a round of drinks to cash and then someone decided to give Wendle the name jingles because he always wanted to play quaters. To this day he will always be remembered for that game. Wendel was a good friend and will be missed by everyone he knew.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. My father, Duff Plato worked with Wendel at McGregors for many years. I heard many wonderful stories about him and my father respected him immensely. My mother (Sue) and I hope you find comfort in family during these difficult times. Wendel was a great man and he will be missed.

Wendel and I went to college together in Lethbridge in 1961. We had great times. We went our separate ways but I did hook up with him during the time he taught in the one room school houses in Chezacut and Meldrum Creek. Then he made a special trip back to Lethbridge in 1968 to be best man at my wedding. And then, off we went again in different directions. We kept in touch somewhat over the years but never again got to visit each other. I have many fond memories. Last note was a couple of...

I am so sorry for your loss, Gregory, Martin,Jocelyn and Lindsey. I have such fond memories of your dad. I remember your family coming over and the guys sitting downstairs and watched "UFC" and your dad was right into it. Your dad would always come to the girls soccer games prepared with a dirty joke for me, me would swap jokes....people would get up and leave...your mom just shock her head.He loved you all so very much and was so proud of you all. You kids and your mom were his world. ...

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Time will heal your hearts, lean on each other and know that everyone is here for you. You are not alone. Sheila, Brandon and Justin Blakey

All of our thoughts and prayers are with the Walker family in this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Wendel (and your Mom, Gayle)were my parents best friends. They have been in our live since for as long as I can remember. I have the most incredible memories of them jamming together, the wise "words" and dry humor of Wendel, them gold panning, etc. etc. The last time I had the pleasure of spending some time with both your Mom and Dad was when we attended the Premier's Lunch when Ed Stelmach was just elected and we sat at the same table and caught up. I had a...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

People often wonder if they have made a difference in the world. In the time I have known Wendel we talked, laughed, argued, plotted and schemed. You ask if Wendel made a difference, he touched and influenced every person he met. I am a better husband, father and man for knowing Wendel, he will be missed
