Not sure what to say?

Uncle, thank you for every call. You wore the phone out, sometimes forgetting we had already talked that day and called back just to tell me the same thing over. Thank you for putting a smile on my children's faces. Thank you for always making me laugh so hard, the best medicine. I miss you everyday!

I learned about Wendell's passing today from my Phi Sigma Chi big brother. Wendell (who was called 'Dalll' by Phi Sigs and others close to him in high school) and I were in the same pledge class. He was funny and good natured. Girls found him adorable. On a couple of occasions he bailed me out of a hostile situation by intervening and saying something like, 'Chill, man. You know Jimmy D is intense, but he's still a good ole boy even if he reads too much.'

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray...

RIP Wendell
