I met Mr. Wendell roughly 12-years ago when his daughter, Tammy, and I came to visit them on Mother's Day (or was it Father's Day?) in DC. The moment we arrived I felt like I could stay forever...Mr Wendell was so funny and I couldn't stop cracking up and he made me feel like I knew him forever.
