I met Mr. Wendell roughly 12-years ago when his daughter, Tammy, and I came to visit them on Mother's Day (or was it Father's Day?) in DC. The moment we arrived I felt like I could stay forever...Mr Wendell was so funny and I couldn't stop cracking up and he made me feel like I knew him forever. Butler Girls – I am going to miss your Dad! I always enjoyed his graciousness and his vivacious humor! You and your Parents have had a ‘big' impact in my life over the past 34 years. I very much appreciate our friendship and again, will truly miss your Dad. Love Always, Ursula

Wendell had a wonderful life and family. We feel grateful to have known him and his family. While we know there is nothing we can say or do to alleviate his family's sorrow, we will keep Wendell and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

As you turn to God through your tears and sorrow, bear in mind, “He is the healer of the brokenhearted ones”. (Ps.147:3)

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Uncle Wendell always had a joke for me and I had my last dance with him in November at his birthday party. Uncle Wendell will truly be missed but forever in our hearts. Great Memories
Love You All, Amy
