Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to learn that Wendell passed away. I had been searching for Cooqui my freshman college roommate at Fisk 1971. I am sorry for the loss of your father and husband as well as your sister in law or aunt.

while at Boston University, Wendell taught the Korean martial art, Tang Soo Do. i was one of his senior students and he sometimes dined with my family, good bye old friend

I just learned of Dr. Cox's passing. I saw him in his Georgetown practice following the suicide of my father. He provided incredible support and comfort to our family. I hope knowing that he had such a significant, positive impact on his patients provides some comfort to your family. With deepest sympathy.

Dear Jaffrey, Mariel and Ben,
I just now learned of Wendell's death and my heart is heavy. I was hoping to see him on a trip to DC this fall...It is not an understatement to say that Wendell changed my life by helping me to understand myself, my family, my past and my future. He will always be in my thoughts as I, to this day, wonder "what would Wendell say?" I can only imagine your sorrow in saying goodbye to this incredible man. Please know that I am thinking about you. My very best to...

Wendell Cox: Rest in Power and Peace. Profound condolences to to Wendell's family. I was a year behind Brother Cox at BU and one of his first students on campus in Tae Kwon Do. Later, we -like so many- were both deeply affected by Dr. King's assassination. As a result, we participated in the formation of "Umoja", the BSU. His courage, vision and leadership was instrumental in creation of MLK jr. Center as well as the subsequent admission of thousands of Black and LatinX students to BU....

This is terribly late but I just found out today (2/8/19) that Wendell has passed away. Wendell was such a huge help to me after my husband died in 1993. I am devastated, as I had not been in touch with Wendell for several years. As a therapist, he was a caring, easy to talk to man and I miss him. I am so sorry for the family.

To the Family and Friends of Dr. Cox, you have my deepest sympathy. May the God of all comfort, comfort you in all your trails.

I was sitting in my office between clients reflecting on people who shaped my career. I Google and found out this so terribly sad news. Wendell Cox was my favorite professor at BMC GSSWSR. He believed in me and gave me such helpful advice. He shaped my career. I am grateful to have been his student. Peace and healing to his family.

Sending my sincere condolences to the family. May the God of comfort give you strength and peace during this difficult time. -Psalm 29:11
