So sorry to hear about Wendell. I worked with him at Cat for many years. My wifes parents were also hearing impaired (John & Eleanor Lajcin). We were both big Cubs fans. I hope he was able to enjoy last season. He was a good guy.

As a child growing up I only saw Uncle Wendell from time to time passing through as an Air Force brat. Our family will be forever grateful for his hospitality along with Aunt Barbara and cousins Kurt, Jeff, Doug and Steve.
Uncle Wendell was always excited to see us and although we didn't communicate in sign language, his generous heart was worn on his sleeve with the ever present sparkle in his eyes.
