Not sure what to say?

Dr. Nickell thank you for bringing me into this world. For helping my mom and me make it. You and Waitstill were and are my hero's. The family below is here because of you.

We are sorry for your loss. We have many memories from Topeka. Dan Figgs, Jean Davis, Jeff Figgs and John Figgs. Contact us.

So sorry to hear about Dr Nickell, I remember him as a Dr at Topeka, I was a student, he loved to teach & you had better studied your A&P, if you were going to be in his room, then we moved to Salina, I started working in surgery at St John's, we met up again. Here again, he was teaching, you could learn so much from him, not only did he teach, but he was a very kind person, always made you feel at ease. This community has lost a great friend, for his kindness & his love for Salina. Thanks...

So sorry to hear about Dr. Nickell's passing. He was a great friend to my parents David and Janice Hurst. I remember many get togethers with the Nickell families. He was so kind to my parents in their latter years and I have fond memories of his kindness and love as well as that of Waitstill. God Bless and Be with you in this time and know that this man laid up many kindnesses in heaven. Kay Hurst Stroh

Barry and Margaret, So sorry for your loss. I will always remember him as a wonderful caring physician and a lover of music and his family! My mom, Loyola Meagher, the day supervisor and ICU nurse at Asbury Hospital, greatly admired and looked up to Dr Nickell and is very sad to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely, Mary Ann Meagher Oelschlaeger Lowen

Lou and I send our condolences on your loss.

I am grateful for the life of Dr. Nickell. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.
