What a wonderfully written obituary - and what a truly good and service-oriented life he led. I regret that I cannot attend the service tomorrow, but please know that I am thinking of you and sending my love to you all.

Beulah, Katherine & Kevin, We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband, and father. I had you on my mind all week and even tried to call. It was only today that I found out about Wendell! He will be missed....such a wonderful man. Ken and I are going to try and come to the funeral. We miss you all! Katherine, I´m so very sorry for your loss. I only met your dad a few times but he was such a nice man and left a lasting impression. I remember him coming to help out at the school and he was always so professional and kind. It was obvious he enjoyed helping others. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
