I have worked for George Reed Inc. and Basic Resources for over 25 years. Wendell was always there for the men working in the field. Always giving them full respect for what they do and their contribution to the company they work for. He will be missed.

My prayers are with Norma and family. Wendell was so kind and witty. I have fond memories, especially of a Santa Cruz vacation together with the Andersons in the mid-60s! And then I had the privilege of working for Wendell at Basic Resources. Norma was the property manager when we moved to Reed Center and seeing her daily was an added bonus!

Wendell Reed was an inspiration to me in the construction industry and life in general. He represented the highest of life's qualities. His leadership and vision will provide great benefits to the construction industry and life for the future. I will certainly miss him as I know his family and friends will. My thoughts an prayers are with his family.
