Wendell Reed

I met Mr. Wendell Reed few times through his son, Wayne. Wendell was a wonderful gentleman and I feel very happy to have known him through his son, Wayne. I just know about this sad news from Eiichi Ominato's letter from Japan. Wishing all of his family peace and comfort at this most difficult time. I extend my condolences to his family.

I first met Wendell, at Solar, in the 1970, after I learned his daughter, Carol, lived across the street from us. My wife, Barbara, and I, are saddened by his death, and wish to extend our deepest sympathy. Carol, your dad was a good man. I had the deepest respect for him. I first met Wendell in July 1971 and he quickly became my mentor and role model. He was a generous, giving and gifted man who the world will sadly miss. During this time of sorrow I offer my heartfelt condolences to Rosa and Wendell’s surviving family. May god grant you all that special strength and inner peace needed for this difficult transitional period of your lives.

I met Wendell four times on visits to San Diego and feel very privileged. He was a wonderful man and I feel very happy to have known him through his son Wayne. I extend my condolences to all of his family.

Wendell, was a sweet & loving man, and we shall miss him at our family gatherings. We are greatly sadddened for his family, & friends.
