I'm so sorry to read of Wendell's death. He was a fine man and devoted follower of Jesus Christ. My sincere sympathy and condolences to his children and grandchildren, and all his family. Linda Pouncey, Alabama

My Friend! Wendell's family was my family for a time in my own life, so much so, that that effect remained even after his own children were grown up and married. Wendell would admonish me, and others who held the Saviour as dear, so much as I know, to 'Stand' and to exercise faith toward him, our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Paid it all. In my hand no price I bring, simply to thy cross I cling.

My friend! We shared Alaska adventures together. His family was my family. Wendell often admonished me, and I believe others who hold dear the Lord Jesus Christ, to 'stand' and that it is 'faith' toward our Saviour which we are to exercise. Jesus Paid it all. I shared many cups of coffee and good fellowship with Wendall along with a few other local guys at McDonalds. Wendall always had a good message to share relating to our lord and savior. Thats what i remember most about him. His gentle and meaningful demeanor set him apart from many. May you rest peacefully now Wendell thank you for always setting a good example as to how a good christian should relate to others.
