Not sure what to say?

To the friends and family of Wendy, please allow me to say that your loss is deeply felt by myself and many, many, others, particularly those of us whom were her classmates from Edmonds High, and specifically those of us on the Track and Field squad.
When I heard of her passing from a close friend, a picture of her smiling face leapt into my mind, a mental snapshot of a day during Track Practice, when coach Campbell had us working had to succeed in our respective events.
Wendy's...

May Wendy rest in peace.

I knew her when I worked at CCC, and she was a most kind and excellent human being. I remember one time when I dragged myself to work with the flu, and how she tended to me as both physician and co-worker.

Wendy was a wonderful person! She was extremely patient and lovely to absolutely anyone and everyone.

My condolences to Cathy and the rest of her family.

I remember Wendy from high school. She always had such a sweet spirit, and was so kind to everyone.

Cathy, I'm sorry for your loss. I wish I could be there. Wendy was always an inspiration to me.

"I love, I love, I love my Calander girl, yeah, my Calander girl!" We were 43,000 strong yesterday at the Race for the Cure! To be a part of that walk was empowering and yet very overwhelming. It is hard to believe that so many people have been impacted in some way or another by cancer. 3 million dollars has been raised and we are going to find a CURE in honor of our dear friend Wendy and all of those other womyn fighting the fight.

We love you Wendy and miss you dearly.

My visits with Wendy were all too few and far between but always memorable. I first met Wendy when she was a young resident developing her skills to care for others. The last time I spoke with her was at a celebration of life for a mutual friend and cancer victim. Wendy was again displaying her kind and giving support to others even while she was herself fighting for another day of life.
To Wendy, thank you for your positive contributions to many peoples' lives. To Cathy, the family,...

My heartfelt condolences to Cathy and the rest of Wendys family and loved ones. and to her MCC family . SHE will be missed by all

Kathy,

We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers!

Wendy befriended me my first day at Emanuel-Good Sam residency. She was there many times to encourage me through the difficult times. She was a very good role model, able to stand and respect herself at times when "the establishment" was not so kind.

She gave herself to a wonderful practice combining traditional and alternative medicine. Again, she could stand tall.

On my last visit to Portland, in 2005, I visited with Wendy at MCC one Sunday. She was still positive...
