I remember spending time in the summer when I was very young at the Winsted LaBrie family home when I would visit with Nana(Abiigail Fields). Wendy was surrounded by the nature she so loved, and would often create stories about the animals who lived in the woods. Some mornings I would find little gifts on the kitchen table that she said the animals had left.
