I was in the desert yesterday, and when I went in to the store I learned of Wendy's passing.
Wendy was an inspiration in helping with my personal move from Canada to California.
To say I am in shock is truly an understatement.
A 17 year friendship with probably one of the most "generous", kind, giving & loving persons that one could hope to meet.
To me Wendy was "the desert", the reason to strive for citizenship - so many memories.

I just heard today. I am so sorry for your loss. I am saddened and shocked. Wendy was a wonderful and kind person. Always had a smile and eyes that lite up a room she walked into.
