Wendy and I were young when we were together, bumbling erratically through life and love, trying to find our way. Our paths ultimately diverged, but Wendy figures prominently in some of my best memories, and I will always be grateful for the good times we shared. Her vivacious spirit, disarming smile, and easy laughter brightened the world and it is darker now for her passing too soon. Her family and friends will be in my prayers.

I remember Wendy from Elementary school. She attended middle school as well. Even though she has been away from the state of Wisconsin for tweny years, I've always thought of her as being a strong healthy young woman, so it's a shock to hear that she's been really really sick, I have no clue as to what CANCER she had at such an early age. Thoughts and prayers to Wendy's family and friends. I met Wendy in middle school and we had many good times that I will forever cherish. Wendy was such a sweet person, I will never forget her and her beautiful smile. May her loved ones find comfort in knowing they now have an angel to watch over them forever and always.

I am unable to attend the memorial service for Wendy at Stritch St. Francis Chapel, but I offer sympathy to her parents and friends. I did not know her, but I'm impressed with her obituary and photo. I'm hoping she had happy years and memories before her final illness.

My deep condolences to Wendy's family and loved ones. I remember her warm smile and kindness in high school and admired her positive approach to adversity.
