Wendy Kay Wagner

Wendy was a standout athlete. I knew her as a friend, volleyball teammate and the fastest girl on the Jr high track team. She called one summer asking me to try out for x-country at Skyline. Knowing she was a x-country skier, I was confused but soon realized it was a running sport. That call changed the trajectory of my life as I ran in HS, college and beyond. Wendy was tough, fun and smart. I am sorry I didn't keep up better with her as we grew older but was always happy to brag on my friend...

Deb, so very sorry to learn about the passing of Wendy. What a spark plug she was at Skyline playing volleyball . Certainly a person that could always be counted on to give 100%, especially in the smile department. She was a special girl that accomplished great things in her life. I hope Heaven is ready for the energizer Bunny.
