Wendy Kay Wagner 1973 - 2025 Park City UT-"I don't get tired, I go hard!" Are the words six year old Wendy said to her uncle when on a hike. That was the way Wendy lived her life and achieved her dreams. The rest of us felt so lucky to scramble, climb, pedal, ski, or snow machine behind her,...

Not sure what to say?

Our hearts and prayers go out for your family. Wendy is well described in the words above. I first remember Wendy as young girl through her teens and the passion she showed in everything she did but especially with her horses. The endurance expressed as a six year old flowed into riding her horse over hill and mountains preparing for and competing in horse endurance events. Please be assured that Wendy's spirit lives on and that through the merits of our Savior Jesus Christ family...

Debbie and Dave, I am so sad to hear about the loss of Wendy. I didn´t know her but I know that Bill thought highly of her.

A true champion taken too soon. I had the privilege of covering Wendy´s Olympic career back when was a sports writer at The Salt Lake Tribune. What an inspiring competitor, fighting for the podium with the rare combination of grace and fierceness. Our hearts go out to Wendy´s mom and dad and the rest of her family.

Wendy sounds like she was a true light, a shining beam of a person, one whose radiance will continue to energize those around her and the things she cared deeply about. We should all wish for such a legacy and follow the example she set.

So sad to hear of Wendy´s passing. Take good care. Such a very difficult time.

LORETTA AND I WANT TO OFFER OUR SORROW ON THE LOSS OF YOUR WENDY. OUR MEMORIES TAKE US BACK TO RIDE N TIE DAYS. MAY HER MEMORY BE ETERNAL.

A truly wonderful person. So sorry, Debbie and Dave, for your loss. She will be missed.

Wendy took me under her wings at St. Lawrence in 1993 I was a year behind her. We spent so much time training and traveling together laughing and learning... That season, N. NY had no snow, the team had No coach, no wax room and the University had no drivers for the long away competitions (carnivals) ... Ofcourse, Wendy was a leader, she helped take control, always a warrior and a treasure of a friend. She made the season bearable and even fun. I followed her every step. She is a hero to me...

I am so saddened to know you lost such a gifted loving daughter. The brightest stars burn the quickest
