Werner is missed by those of us who had the privilege to work for him. If one word can be used to describe Werner, it is "integrity". Beneath his sometimes intimidating "public" persona was a very kind, thoughtful and generous man. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family for their loss. Mr. Buntemeyer started an industry addressing community building which I have been privileged to experience. Those efforts live on in these communities. His work has been memorialized in the photo archives and historical records of familiar places like Coral Ridge, Coral Springs, Parkland, Pelican Bay, Pelican Landing and Coral Bay. His legacy will remain but his leadership and vision will be missed.
