Very sorry for your loss ,My father worked with your father for many years on the railroad. I can fondly remember at a age of around 7 or 8 years old going to spend a weekend at the farm with his son. he showed this city kid what farming was all about..I was petrified of his bull and I remember him saying it's ok he won't bother you.LOL We rode bikes and caught frogs in the pond. It was a experience I have never forgotten.God bless you all. And thank you Mr Barber for having me over that...

When I think of my grandfather, what comes to mind is strength, faith, and love of family. He embodied a steadfast character, a stern, sometimes towering man of principles. Married for 69 incredible years, he dedicated his life to hard work, first on the railroad and later as a beef farmer well into his 70s. Reminding us that the easy way isn´t always the best way. As our family's patriarch, we honored him by naming our firstborn after him and hope to instill the same principles and values in...
