I grew up knowing Wes and Marty, daughter Gail, in the house directly behind theirs. Had many good times at bbq's, get togethers, also Sam and Marsha Hester and girls.
One time on the 101 Fwy, I was heading towards Oxnard at night, flashing lights of a CHP...oh no, what did I do?! It was Officer Beck just wanting to mess with me...lol...I'll never forget that big guy and his terrific smile.

I was sorry to learn of "sergeant" Beck passing. I worked with him at the CHP area office in Ventura. Although we were not close, he seem to be a down to earth type of person and was easy to talk to. My condolence to his family.
