Not sure what to say?

I always looked forward to visits to see my Uncle Wes, Aunt Phyl, and cousins Tom and Robin. Still do. Wes was always my hero and mentor and if I was within hearing, I was paying attention. Just being in his presence was healing for me. I will miss him. I am so greatful for the time I got to spend with him, and his family.

To all my family, I'm saddend deely with the passing of my Uncle Wes. I know I haven't kept in good contact with family but be assured I do love and think of you often, what a good life we all have really had. Uncle Wes meant so very much to me deep inside, he was my constant reminder of my father, Eddie.

Until we meet again Wes, via con dios.

Wes was a very special person. After knowing him for the better part of 59 years, it's hard to believe he's gone. I'll miss him.

Phil and family, It was such a pleasure to know Wes. He was truly a good family man and a good friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Wes saw something in me as a new graduate from Optometry school in 1979, and dispite previous attempts at working with an associate in his office, he gave me a home to begin my new practice. It didn't take long for me to see Wes's fine attributes as a healer, consoler, counselor, friend, and business man. He was forward thinking and always wanted what was best for his patients. He was kind and diplomatic. He always found a sensible way of working out problems and conflicts, without anger...

What a wonderful Dad he must have been! I got to share him as an Uncle , and as a teenager , got to spend time during the summer vacation in his home , having a great time with Tom , and being greatly influenced by his strong values , kindness , sharp wit and playful humor . He amazed me with his ability to be so smooth and relaxed , even when we got caught doing what we probably shouldn`t have !
A kind soul that influenced my life , I offer to share a bit of the pain of his leaving us .

Gary Linton Celebrating 25 years with Puyallup Vision

What a thrill and a joy it was celebrating Gary's 25th anniversary marking the joining together of Wes and Gary in partnership. The attached picture was taken of the three best optometrists in the world! We will miss his regular visits to the clinic just to say hello. He was a true gentleman.

I will never forget Dad. I loved his gentle caring ways and smile. I will always remember the Christmas he tricked the grandkids with the cans in the hallway. Another story is the dinner biscuit that he and Uncle Tom sent each other for about 6 years. What fun times we had.
He may have been my father in law by marriage but for 32 years I considered him my #2 father. After my father passed away 2 years ago, Wes was my only living father, and now both of my fathers are together sharing...
