Not sure what to say?

My sympathy to the family of Wes Brown, and I apologize for the lateness of this entry. As a student at St Kate's, Wes' smile was such a day brightenter, and he was so kind to all. I am sure he will be missed.

To the family of Wes Brown -

Wes was an icon at St. Kate's during his many years of service here. He reached out to every student, made each one feel special. He was such a personality and so well loved by everyone who knew him. We were very fortunate to have him as one of our greatest student champions. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mark, Pat, Girls and Families:

I too remember the "good 'ol days" down at Linwood Park with your dad surrounded by "this years team" giving one of his many coaching lessons. Your dad gave his heart to coaching and the kids. He had an incredible spirit about him. Everyone knew Coach Brown! He'll be dearly missed.

Our family was lucky to know such a great person.

To wesley family my deepest condolences , Wes
is a great person to know, i worked together with him at Minikahda storage i could always remember Wes telling me when life is pressing done a bit rest if must but don't you quit.

From his Dearest friend Okang

Patti, Patrick, Mark, Heidi and Holly,

We are profoundly saddened to hear of your Dad’s departing. In our time as your Mom and Dad’s next-door neighbors, we treasured their friendship and conversation.

Many an evening Mark and Matt would be delayed coming home when I knew that they were out back swapping stories with Wes in the alley. And Wes sure had some stories – his children and grandchildren, fishing, University of Michigan, the Vikings, life, everything, you name...

Our deepest sympathy to Wes' family. He will be greatly missed. Our daily conversation at Minikahda Mini Storage was not something that will be easily forgotten. Wes was a dedicated employee and no matter what was happening, Wes would always make you SMILE! =-)

Dear Browns,

When I saw Wes' obituary in the newspaper, it brought back many fond memories. When I was a student at St. Kate's in the '70s, Wes was like an extra dad. As the intercampus bus driver, he heard so many stories of our trials and tribulations, from bad grades to breakups with boys. And he always had good advice: "Just study hard and the rest will come! And get your butt outta bed on time!" He used to throw snowballs at our dorm window so we'd rouse our sleepy selves to...

In the early 1970's Wes drove the shuttle bus between St. Kate's and St. Thomas. His words of greeting and encouragement meant a lot to us college kids. It would seem the "Wes Express" (that is, "Wes Brown and his bus of renown") has reached the final destination; I'm grateful that I could be along for part of the ride.

Patrick,I am sorry for the loss of your father. He was a nice man - I remember he would give me rides to see you . I also see your mother passed away before him . I hope that you get through this loss with the help and support of your family.
