We so loved, dear Wesley, as did our mother, Priscilla, whom he knew as Perky!
What a special man he was!
We thank God upon every remembrance of him and you all!
May The Lord continue to bless and comfort you all in this time of mourning, while He blesses all as we think of Wesley in heaven with Jesus, face to face! Hosanna!

Words cannot express what I owe him. He has been part of my life for 60 yrs - since I was three. His skill, his faith in life, and the depth of his experiences are things I will treasure forever.

What a wonderful man. We we honored to share just a small portion of Dr. Burnham's life journey here at The Colony, but he made a significant impression on all he knew. Our loss is certainly Heaven's gain. No longer subject to Earth's gravity, may he enjoy his eternity in the clouds.
Our sympathy to the family for your loss.

I have, hiding in one of my drawers, a very special gift from Dr. Burnham. It is a custom made tie pin, made of gold, representing the cross and spiritual healing.
He gave it to me after church one Sunday with a card of appreciation and his own personal kind words.
I have cherished that gift since the day he gave it to me.
Thank you Dr. Burnham for your life of joy, music and reflection of Christ.

So sorry to hear of your Dads passing. Just found out today. So many memories we have of him. My Dad Erick LaVine shared many hunting and fishing trips with both your parents. The wonderful stories of his adventures he shared at Ericks Game Dinners. Dwight remembers going flying with him to look at lake shores in the Metro area before he Rip-Rap your shoreline on Bryant Lake. Getting a ride in his corvette made us smile. Art,Linda and Allen the fun we had back when. Only good memories. We r...

As a child I remember the Burnhan's at church. Seem to remember my grand mother & aunt claiming him as their only doctor.
Years later, I was visiting my mother with my 2 daughters when he taxied up to her dock on Lake Minnetonka in his seaplane just to see if anyone wanted to go for a ride. And we did!
Wonderful godly people and good to my family.

We lived next door to Wesley and Esther on Washburn Avenue North when I was a teenager. They hired me on numerous occasions to babysit the three children. I remember doing so for an entire week, day and night, while Esther and Wesley vacationed. I received the big sum of $45. I thought it was a huge amount. I enjoyed the entire family and missed them when they moved. One winter, Wesley drove me to his office every morning where I caught the bus to school while I attended Minnehaha Academy. I...
