Not sure what to say?

Wes, my condolences and prayers are with you and your family.

Wes - your Dad was truly a "stand up" guy, down to earth and practical who loved to debate. However, most of all, we loved his dry sense of humor. We'll all greatly miss him.

Wes, Pam and Mrs. Burns,
Our deepest condolences on your loss. CDR Burns was a great man who served his family, country and the United States Navy with honor, pride and distinction. It was a pleasure knowing him in the place he cared for deeply - Avalon. Our prayers are with you.

Wes, sorry to here your loss, I know you loved him and will miss him. He is now with God. Having just buried my father at Arlington this year at the age of 91. He was a U.S. Naval Commander Chaplin.

Dear Wes,
I know you are grieving now, but I am sure that you must be proud of all that your father accomplished and the many fond memories you will revere of him. My prayers are with you, may God bless and care for you both.

Wes, Pam, and Mrs. Burns,
I have such fond memories of Wes in the alumni Blue Band, tailgating, and painting or puttering around the house in Avalon. Keeping you in my prayers for your loss,
Amy Heil Maley

Wes and family,
My sympathies. I will always remember your dad conducting the alumni band at our homecoming games. I could tell that he really enjoyed that, and he will be missed.

Our condolences Wes. My best memory of your father was watching him high step it at the Alumni Band for Homecoming when he was 80. So glad we were able to capture him on the jumbotron and you could put it on one of your creative birthday cakes for him. You took good care of him.

May the love and prayers of friends and loved ones comfort you at this difficult time.
