Wesley worked as an Operations Manager for Trucking for over 40 years.

Wesley is survived by his wife; Linda, his son; Wesley Burton Jr, his daughters; Rosalind Burton and Pamela Burton, his sisters; Sue Bridges and Dawnie Stubbington, his step-children; Alex Angulo and Vicki Angulo-Diaz, his Grandsons; Adam Angulo and Zachary Angulo, his Granddaughters; Mandy Burton, Lisa Marie Peralta and Mary Ellie Shelton, along with many friends and family who will miss him always.
