Wesley Duncil Wesley Albert Duncil, 86 of Fairmont passed away on Friday March 14, 2014 at the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Clarksburg. He was born in Farmington on February 18, 1928 a son of the late Albert Earl Duncil and Clara (Tennant) Duncil. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean (Fleming) Duncil. Wesley proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War in the Communications Division. He retired from Westinghouse Electric/Philips Lighting with 40 years of service as a water engineer. In addition, he sold Mason Shoes for many years. He was associated with the Victory Baptist Church. Wesley was especially fond of the outdoors. He enjoyed his cabin in the mountains where he was an avid fisherman. He was proud to be a native of West Virginia enjoyed long drives on Sunday afternoons. He most enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wesley would always give to others and expected nothing in return. Mr. Duncil is survived by three sons, Thomas Duncil of Fairmont, Ronald Duncil of Fairmont and Leonard Duncil and his wife Amber of Clarksburg; his daughter, Neva Lloyd of Fairmont; his grandchildren Shawn Ramsey, Steve Ramsey and his wife Kristi, Stacy Voyle and her fiancée, Ryan Price, Thomas Duncil, Jr. Lisa King and her husband Richard ,Daniel Duncil and Michael Duncil and his wife Mandy, his great grandchildren, Joshua, Christian, Erin, Sidney, Trevin, Preston, Brianna, Patrick, Jeremiah, Michala, Triston, Blake, Carsyn, Christian and Sophia and two great great grandchildren, Alicyn Ramsey and Kinsley Ramsey. Also Surviving are his brother, Wilbert Ray Duncil and his wife Lela of Canton Ohio, his sister, Eleanor Hamilton of Barrackville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a great grandson Dalton, one daughter-in-law Martha Duncil; one son-in-law Robert Lloyd; one brother Raymond Duncil; one sister Margie Brown; and a brother-in-law Donald Hamilton. Friends may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street on Sunday from 1 – 8 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held at Carpenter and Ford on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 12:30 p.m with Pastor Bob Barker officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens, where Full Military Rights will be conducted by the Marion County Veteran's Council Honor Guard.
