Robin, I am sorry your father is no longer on this earth to give you comfort. I am glad I got to attend the visitation and the funeral service. The many guests demonstrated what a man of character he was and well he was loved. Brother Jeff's message was also a wonderful tribute to a man who was truly in love with the Lord. He has left you a legacy to be proud of and hopefully one that you will want to leave for others.

I will miss Bro. Red and his contagious smile. He was always a light when everything around me felt dark. It was hard this past Sunday morning to not see him standing next to Bro. Bobby in church during visitor recognition. I will miss seeing his Orange jacket on Sunday mornings during Gator Football season. He was a true gentleman. Even though I will miss him, I know he is smiling and greeting people in heaven.

Robin, I was so saddened to hear of the passing of your Dad--sad for you, but not for him. He is free from the surly bonds of earthly flesh. All of his burdens have been lifted completely. He is forever free. . . forever young. . . forever at peace. . . forever perfected. You will see him again. You are in my almost-constant thoughts, and specifically in my prayers. I'm here if you need anything.
Always in Christ Jesus,

"Red" was one of my best friends of my life. He will be greatly missed, but will always be in my heart.
