Not sure what to say?

Wes Fisk was larger than life. To say he had a strong personality is an understatement. Wes filled any room he entered with love and positive energy. He inspired everyone around him to seize the day and enjoy life to the fullest. Wes was a loyal friend and could be counted on during the most difficult times. Wes' love for his wife, Rhetta, and son, Calvin, was boundless. HIs sense of humor was hilarious and kept everyone in stitches. I've been thinking about him recently as I paint the...

Dearest Sophie - what a touching honor. I'll get in touch with your folks! Rh

Rhetta, I´m unsure if you still see messages left here but in honor of Wes and the many smiles he brought to my face as a kid as my godfather, I named my son Myles Wesley Nyquist on 12/15/21. :) I´d love to reconnect sometime so you can meet him. Sending so much love to you and your family today, Wes was the best and we miss him dearly!

To the Fisk family, I was saddened to hear of Wesley's passing, I knew him from many years ago playing in the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra. I was an Oboe player at that time and a Ballard High alum also. Over time, a lot of good musicians have come from Ballard High and Wesley was certainly was one of them. He will be sadly missed. My prayers go with your family....Respectfully, Joel Menold Springdale, Arkansas

Dear Rhetta and Calvin,
Your dear husband and dear father was a terrific person! I will always remember his enthusiasm for life, his hearty laugh, and his wonderful smile!
He will live on forever in our hearts!
With sympathy,
Annabel

Rhetta,
I waited too late to search for Wesley and it breaks my heart to have found this news. Wes was a good friend to my brother, Dan. Spent many an hour in great laughter, as well as, enjoyment listening to Wes play in the symphony. I am so sad for you and your family's loss. As I am sure Wes had known, my brother has been missing for several years. Perhaps they are enjoying each others company again.

Rhetta, Calvin and family,
We were so sorry to learn of Wes's passing. Adria heard the sad news today. He was always a friendly presence at school and on field trips over the years. He was kind to share his time and talents with the Loyal Heights community.
We are thinking of you, and wishing you strength and comfort.
