Wesley Gifford was unique member of the Class of 54. Intelligent, witty, a true friend, a great lawyer. Always ready with a good joke and a great story. A true Canandaigua character who was a man of letters. His cookbooks are more a philosophical, humorous commentary on the passing scene, as well as chock full of good recipes. My mom worked for Wes and Tom Croucher for a number of years and I remember him and his former wife, Kitty taking all of us to NYC for a long weekend when I was about 10 years old. Until recently, it was my one and only visit to NYC. He will be missed.
