Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Wes's family. I found him to be a sweet and gentle man, and a fine musician.

I haven't played with him for many years, but am glad to have seen him and spoken to him briefly a few months ago at the Sacramento Trad Jazz Society meeting.

I'll miss him.

I miss the Grants who were our neighbors in Camas Valley. I visited the graves of Belva and Virgil in July. They had a very nice family.

Woody kept our school jumping with his boogies, laughing with his wit and antics during high school. He was very dear to all of us. The reunions here brought us together again, and we all shared so many wonderful memories, plus some lovely melodies he played and sang for us. May the Lord Bless all Wesley's Family . I truely really will miss his music & the wonderful Friend he was. I can't really express my feelings. I feel like someone great has been taken away, but yet he is in a much better place Hope to be with him when it is my time

My condolences to the family an the passing of Mr Wes Grant.

Glad I had the opportunity to meet him and sorry his talent will no longer be enjoyed.

He lives on in the knowledge he passed to his students.

The Grants lived in one of my parents' rentals behind the Camas Valley Store.

A few years back when Wes came to a CV reunion, I was thrilled to get to talk to him and listen to him play piano in the Grange Hall.

Thank you for keeping us "afar" included in this sad news.

With shared love,

It seems like it was just the other day when I used to visit the Grant family in Camas Valley and listen to them play music.
Sorry to hear about Wes' passing.
Condolences to the family.
