Sorry to be so late posting this note. Wes' obit only appeared in the Aggie Silver Taps site this weekend. Wes was in the Aggie Class of 1954 and was a member of 'B' Battery, Field Artillery and was a great Aggie. We later served together in the 319th Airborne Field Artillery Battalion in the 82nd Airborne Division during 1954-56. (Five Aggies in this unit!) He was an outstanding paratroop officer and was always ready to lead and to help others. His personality was continously upbeat. Wes was...
