Not sure what to say?

In the 1980's I chipped a front tooth in a rather embarrassing way. As Dr. Hiltbrand went about fixing it with epoxy, He winked at me and advised me tell people I got it in a bar brawl. I still wear that tooth proudly thanks to him. He was a wonderful man and his dentist son as well.

Dr. Hiltbrand was the best dentist ever and a truly magic person who raised a beautiful family. We were so lucky to have him here in San Luis Obispo. My condolences.

I was his patient starting when I was in High School...He was just the best. 3 generations of my family have been patients at his practice...

I moved to San Luis Obispo on 1990. Dr. Hiltbrand was my first employer. What a wonderful way to be introduced to the town. He was folksy, honest, fun and funny. I have happy memories of those days. Eileen Oatley

My sincere condolences to the Hiltbrand family. Dr. Hiltbrand was a friendly, kind person and an outstanding dentist, based on my own assessment and that confirmed by both my now former dentist (in West Des Moines, Iowa) and current dentist (Decorah, Iowa). When both dentists admired the long-lasting cantilever dental bridge he created, I heartily gave Dr. Hiltbrand credit! Blessed be his memory. Stephanie Hoff

I started going to Dr. Hildebrand when I was in High school and til he retired. He made a big impact on my life by telling my Mom I really needed braces. We could not afford to pay for them and because of him finding funding they were paid for by Cripple Children's Fund. I will forever be grateful. He also helped me get over my fear of going to the dentist. He always had a smile on his face and he was so kind. My condolences to his family.

Rush could tell a story, make you laugh and so careful with your dental work Our heartfelt condoloance to all his family. Always in your heart. Nancy and Marvin

I first met Dr. Hiltbrand in 1975 after my family moved to San Luis Obispo. He was my dentist until he retired, and I am still a patient at his office. He was a very gentle, kind person who exuded confidence and skill in his practice. His sense of humor and practical outlook made going to the dentist a pleasant experience. Dr. Hiltbrand was a great person from a great generation. His gifts will be part of our lives forever.

I chose Dr Hiltbrand while I was beginning my career in teaching and Judy was on the School Board. I figured the guy had to be good! He was kind to every member of my family, including and especially my 85 yr old Italian Grampa who barely spoke English! I just enjoyed going to the dentist because of him. I´m in good hands with his successors, too. I know he left his mark on everyone he came in contact with.
