Wesley Norman Perry

Wesley Norman Perry, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2015. He was born August 19, 1942 the son of the late Robert and Olivia Perry. He is survived by his wife, Judy Alford Perry; daughter, Michele Perry Cornwell (Kenny); 2 grandchildren, Zachary and Ashley; brothers: Linwood (Linda), Charles E. and James. He has several nephews and nieces and 2 special friends, Ira Fuller and Troy Mitchell. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie. He was a Zebulon Police Officer and later retired with the Wake County Sheriff's Department with 25 years of service. He was a lifetime member of Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church. Memorial service 11:00 am, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church, 4525 Hopkins Chapel Road, Zebulon, 27597. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 am in the church fellowship hall. Norman's wishes were to be cremated and in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607 or Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church.
