Not sure what to say?

I was in first grade with (as we kids knew him) Peter Peterson at Clymer Central School. I´m not positive but I thought his father was a high school teacher there. I remember his curly blond hair and happy kindness. I don´t know low many years he was there because my parents moved, but I returned to Clymer in seventh grade and he was no longer a classmate. I am so sorry for your loss but am happy to have been a classmate with such an amazing gentleman!

We have known and admired Pete Peterson, since we first started attending the First Universalist Church 20 years ago, as a caring and special person. Anne always felt a special connection to him because he was the same age she is, went to Allegheny College in her home town and knew several of her high school friends. Pete spoke up about things that ma ttered when we used to have a chance to speak during services. We will miss seeing him regularly in church. We are sorry we will not be able...

I was an early and lifelong beneficiary of Pete's "mentoring" when he was at Harvard. My father died when I was very young. When I was 8 years old I was matched up with Pete at the Big Brother Association. I got lucky. For the next 4 years he came to see me every Saturday. He opened a whole world to me. We kept up. I last saw Mary and Peter 10 years ago at a reunion. They did not hide their talents: they gave them to the world. I think of them every day.

Served his country and community.

I think back on the years in our neighborhood circle, church campouts, and our shared rides to & from church. I am so glad to know you and the stories, reminiscences, thoughtfulness, and love in your life. Miss you and am thankful for all your gifts.
