Dick was some kind of guy. He was like a rough cut diamond, sometimes hard on the outside but such a jewel when you got to the inside. We would visit him in Tucker and I believe he had one of everything ha ha. While he and my husband would look at his jeep and cars{caddy's}, he would turn his player piano on for me to listen to. I could sit for hours and listen to the beautiful sounds. Sometimes we would talk about our kids and he would talk adout Doug and how he enjoyed being with him so...

Dick loved antique cars and trucks, especially WWII jeeps. He was one of the original members of the Georgia Military Vehicle Preservation Association and a member of the greatest generation, the American veterans of World War II. We will miss him.
