During WWII, Lt. Wesley J. Souliere was the leader of the Anti-Tank Platoon of HQs Company, 1st Battalion, of the 104th Regiment, in the 26th Infantry Division. My father, PFC Raymond J. Oblinger, was among a few assigned to this platoon as replacements for a few men who had died during their first engagement in battle in northeastern France. I firmly believe that Wes did a remarkable job of leading this platoon.

My condolences to the Souliere Family. i always remember the family times in Becket. Uncle Wes was a great man. His skills and knowledge were unmatched. Wes would always lend a hand. He will always be remembered close to my heart. May God open his arms and welcome Wes into heaven. May God give strength to the family during this grieving time.
