Not sure what to say?

I had a chance to work with Wes when I joined AWS in 2022, Wes embodied the true spirit of leadership, mentorship, and genuine human connection.

Known for his infectious smile and unwavering positive energy, Wes had an extraordinary ability to illuminate both physical and virtual spaces with his presence. As a devoted mentor and team builder, he was instrumental in helping me settled down in my new job.

Wes's genuine curiosity, thoughtful questions, and eagerness to...

I had the good fortune to work with Wes and learn from him. His smile, cheer, and positive attitude brightened up every physical and virtual room he was in, even during COVID times. He was eager to learn, through asking questions, and a genuine curiosity and offer of kindness and friendship to all, that shone through his eyes. He had a vision for growing our work team and bringing in diverse talent in the Carolinas, and drove over to Raleigh office frequently to onboard new hires and...

I am deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Wes. Wes was not only a valued colleague but also a truly wonderful person whose kindness, warm smile, and constant willingness to help others touched many lives. My thoughts and prayers are with Wilk family as you navigate the profound loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Wes was my partner in crime, my mentor, my therapist and my friend. He always made me laugh and had the best banter. He was so sweet and kind, he would give you the shirt off his back or all the cokes from his office. I used to sketch pictures of us on his white board to let him know I had stolen his office, and he would never erase them.
He loved his kids endlessly and always bragged on Archer and Teagan. He gave great parenting tips. He was just truly the best and he will be SO missed...
