Woody was no-nonsense, hardworking HELPFUL. He made working at JLab a pleasure. I'm sure he's smoking a pipe now watching those grandkids he talked about.

Woody was one of the first people I met when I came to the lab 24 years ago. No matter what type of mood I was in I was always cheered up by talking to him. I will miss you Woody

No matter what time of the day or night, Woody always said "Good Morning Sir". He was the friendliest, most sincere person who would give you anything from advice to giving you help on any job. I will truly miss him and look forward to seeing him some day and hearing him say Good Morning Sir

Though he'd never admit it he was a mentor to a lot of us. He helped me when I first joined the RF Group. He made sure I had all the necessary tools and explained overall operation of the entire accelerator. He was always available for work and at home.
