Weyman Gaines

To you ,Mrs.Gaines and my dear friend Valerie,my deepest sympathy.

Please know that we are continuing to lift the entire family up in prayer during this time. We have many fond memories of Pop from Mt. Moriah. We know that our memories and our love are but a fraction of those that you have and feel. We also know that words are not sufficient at this time. But, we pray that our Father, the Comforter, wraps you in His loving embrace and grants you peace, comfort and everything else that you need during this time.

Weyman was always a pleasant, considerate and wonderful co-worker during my years with him at the Doraville General Motors Plant.I had the pleasure of talking with him again in person as the plant prepared to shut down. Weyman was a friend and gentleman who will be missed by his many friends.

My sincere condolences to the Gaines children--my schoolmates and fellow Girl Scout--on the loss of your father, and to Mrs. Gaines on the loss of your husband. I lost my dad in January many years ago, and I know this is a difficult and challenging time for all of you. I hope you find strength and comfort in knowing that others are thinking of you and praying for you now, including some folks that you haven't seen in years and years.

God loves us and he knows best. He will never put more on us than what we can bear. He will never leave us nor foresake us. If you ever need me, you know I will be there. I love both you and Brother Gaines.

My sympathy is extended to the family of Weyman. I worked with him at General Motors and he was a great co-worker and will be missed.
