To the Bailey Whanau
I have fond memories of a well respected Kui. Aunty Poppy was always an advocate for teaching the young Te Reo and the ways of the Maori. I got to know her during my years at Waitara High School and Manukorihi Intermediate. Thank you, Aunty Poppy.

Such sadness at the loss of 'Aunty' Poppy. Dearly loved by all who were priviledged to know her. Gone to be with her darling Mutu. With deepest sympathy to the Bailey whanau. Vonda, (sister of the late Jane Bailey Whanganui)

Condolences and deepest sympathy we send to all the Bailey whanau on the loss of such a beautiful woman Kui Poppy. Arohanui Brenda on behalf of Wanda and the late Charlie Laison whanau xx

My deepest sympathies to the Bailey whanau. Kui Whero was an amazing woman and teacher. The world was a richer place for having her in it. Now we are the rich ones with the memories, wisdom and knowledge she shared with us all. Kelly Harvey (former student)
