We all had the pleasure to know Wian from the Hillsborough lacrosse team.

I first met Wian and his Dad during a Hillsborough Soccer Club tryout. Both were the nicest people you would ever want to meet. Whenever Wian would come to our home to see my son Dan, we always gave each other a hug (both coming and going). Our hearts go out to Louis, Maria, Lisa, Kari and the rest of the family. Wian will be truly missed.

Our sincerest sympathies from Wian's Va. Tech Men's Lacrosse family. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of such an amazing Captain, President, player and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Wian was a great member of our team here at NSWCDD. His love and fascination with flight shone through his conversations and his work. It was a pleasure to engage him in complexities of the theory because he was so quick that we often came up with better solutions because of our interactions. Beyond that, he was a great person to be around. He leaves a large hole in our team. As your life returns to its normal rhythms, I hope that you find some solace in the fact that he was a fine young...
