Not sure what to say?

Mrs Johnson & Family
As a old family from Frenchtown, we will sadly miss Ed, saw him about 6 weeks ago at a family funeral. We are very sorry for your loss and Ed will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Our deepest sympathy for the Johnson family. Mr. Johnson was always there for his family and friends. I can remember his keen sense of humor and interest in everything that we did as kids.

He was also a true professional and was there for us in our time of need. While I was in high school and our friend John Finelli Jr passed away suddenly, Eddie worked tirelessly to make everyone feel at ease in such a difficult situation. I remember his compassion and concern as he helped me...

Dear Mrs. Johnson & Scott -
Please accept condolances and heartfelt prayers. Scott - your words are beautiful, as are Robert's. I'm at a loss at the moment so I'll do my usual babble...
Eddie Johnson has been a staple name in Frenchtown all my life. I can hear it in my memory in my Dad's voice, especially around fire
company topics, and I can recall Mr. Johnson's kindness and friendship to me as a little girl when my PopPop died, and his kindnesses over and over as we said good...

Dear Mrs. Johnson and Scott,
I am profoundly saddened to hear of your loss. I have many fond childhood memories of spending time at your home. Years before joining the Army, I remember that he told me that "S.O.S." was the nickname for chipped beef on toast. Years later, I better understood how it got its nickname. What I remember most about him was his singular sense of humor. Upon reflection, his quips seem to get funnier as the years fly past me. While we have, geographically,...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Our profound sadness at the untimely departure of my father will be a lasting hole in our hearts. We can take great solace in the response that we have received from dad's friends and associates and draw strength from the flood of well-wishes and expressions of love and sympathy. In his own unique way, he loved all those around him and sought to do the right things by the people he touched daily.

Dad firmly believed in the life everlasting and the promise of forgiveness. I will...

The death of "Eddie" Johnson is a sad loss for all of us who for many years relied on the Johnson family to see us through the loss of various family members and friends. Eddie's compassion, professionalism, and personal touch made those times much easier to bear for countless people in Frenchtown and the surrounding communities.
On a deeper level, Frenchtown has lost a person who personified the best of what small town America can produce--a good man and a good citizen who cared...
