Not sure what to say?

To the Family of Mr. Black,

I was just informed about the passing of Mr. Black this weekend (12-2-06) by Katrina Sturkie... I was so devastated. My husband & I want to convey our condolence to your family at this time. I had been a customer of Mr. Black's over 14 years. Mr. Black was quite the stylist & very professional. You stepped in his shop & he gave you his VERY BEST. He strived for perfection, thus expected it from his fellow stylist. I admired this in him & his shop....

To the Black Family,

I was a customer of yours for years until I left East Cleveland. I'm so sorry for your loss. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

To Mrs. Black and your family,
I was your councilperson in East Cleveland from 1988-1994 and you Mr. Black were very supportive of me. God bless and keep you. This is the time to really lean on the Lord.

Mrs. Black and Family

The prayers of my family are with you during your period of loss. Mr. Black was a class act in every way. I would enjoy the many business conversations we would have when I came into the salon. Although he was busy he always had time to talk about business. He had a true passion for what he did, and I will miss him.

I've known Mr. Black since I was a young man. He's always been a positive person doing nothing but positive things. He is one of the many reasons why I've tried to live my life in a positive way. So not only do I consider him a good friend and person I consider him and his family a part of my family. I will love and miss him always.

To the Black Family. I am a customer from many years ago during the time of the Gheri Curl. Mr. Blacks professionalism and shop was an inspiration for me. His perfection and caring of the hair gave me great pride each time I walked into his shop. It was a honor and a blessing to have known a man about pride and honor. May the memories that you all shared sustain in the time of need. God Bless you and your family.

May God Bless The Black Family

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Dear Odessa, Dwayne, Darryl, Lisa & Devonte,

Even though we have moved away, you all have a dear place in our hearts. It was with great sorrow that we learned of Mr. Black's passing. He will forever be remembered as a pillar in the community, the consummate professional, a credit to our race, and a truly wonderful man. It was our privileged and joy to know him, and we send you our deepest regrets during this difficult time.

With Sympathy,
Dr. Vernee Belcher, Thais...
