Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of assisting Mr. Foster at Crump. It was a pleasure knowing him.

My condolences to the family of Skip Foster. He was a wonderful person, who will certainly be missed. During his lifetime, he just seemed to be everywhere. Over the years, I came to consider a visit to Richmond incomplete unless I bumped into Skip. On one occasion, after being in Richmond several hours, as I waited at the light to cross Broad Street, it occurred to me that I hadn't seen Skip. Just before crossing, I turned and looked behind me, and who was there?... Skip.

Our deepest sympathy to the Foster Family.May the legacy live on through you.

We are very grateful to have had Mr. Fosrer as our Statistics and Accounting professor. We will always remember his patience and concern for all his students.

To the Foster Family:
Having known all of the Foster brothers, it is sad to see the last of them go. Having been away from Richmond for the past few years, we did not have the opportunity to see Skip recently, but did see him whenever we came for a visit to Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

To the Family of Skip Foster:
I am so sorry to learn of Skip's passing. He knew so much history about the residents of Richmond, and assisted me on many occasions with my efforts to write about its community and social life. I well remember his many stories, and will sorely miss this great mind.

The world has lost a fine man. "Skip" Foster was a mathematical genius, calculating figures in his head in a minute. He was always pleasant and willing to help others. He was a great asset to me through the Richmond Teachers Credit Union. He will certainly be missed. May God bless his soul.
