Dear Albrecht family : I thought of Professor Albrecht today when I read a Wall Street Journal article about the continued search for Emilia Earhart´s plane, a Lockheed 10-E Electra. Professor Albrecht had a black and white photograph of the same model on the bookshelf in his office in 1979, when I took the first of two introductory English classes from him. At the time, and my memory may be off, he was impressed that I knew anything about Earhart, let alone the Electra. I am sad that I...

We do hope you are all at least with one another. Family is everything.
It seems very obvious that he will be sorrowfully missed.
