Dear Albrecht family : I thought of Professor Albrecht today when I read a Wall Street Journal article about the continued search for Emilia Earhart´s plane, a Lockheed 10-E Electra. Professor Albrecht had a black and white photograph of the same model on the bookshelf in his office in 1979, when I took the first of two introductory English classes from him. We do hope you are all at least with one another. Family is everything.
It seems very obvious that he will be sorrowfully missed.
