To the Family:

It is with deepiest sympathy to your family as I write this entry. I worked with your mother at Largo High School. She and I spent many of lunch periods talking about out children, grandchildren and politics. We both were democrats and were interested in both national and local politics. With our spouses, we attended the Maryland State Presidential Inaugural Ball.

I was truly sorry to hear about the tragic loss of Dr. and Mrs. Burnette. My prayers are with you. May God continue to bless and strengthen you.

I will always remember the love and support that your beautiful parents gave my daughters upon the loss of their father, Dr. Walter Talbot Jr.
