Not sure what to say?

Mrs Innis,David & family....Our deepest sympathy. I only today (may 6) found out about this. I have always had very good conversations with Will, he was a very nice man, always pleasant. I only wish I could hve been there to say goodbye. He will be missed terribly. All my best to the family, stay together stay strong.Always the Hoseins

Dear Maddie and family,
I was stunned and sorrowed to hear of Wil's passing. I was a rotating secretary at USPHH in the late 1970s and often worked with Wil in the Environmnental Health Dept. He was a wonderful, kind man and gentle man. He was so serious about his job, yet always looked at the positive lighter and brighter side of life. He made me laugh. I'll always remember his booming voice, especially his sneeze that would nearly knock me off the chair. I'd joke with him about it....

Dearest Dave and family,

Warren and I were so sorry to hear about this terrible accident. Dave, reading all these beautiful entries about your father makes me better understand the wonderful guy you are and the family you come from. We hope to see you soon, and if you want to get away, please feel free to come back to Woodstock for some fresh air and home cooking.

We love you!

Laura

Dear Family Inniss,

I was there the morning this tragic accident happend all I could do was hope and pray and pray some more. God bless you all and your father this day has left me praying for your family.

To Wil's Family:

I worked with Wil back in the '80s, and although we had lost contact since then, I have thought of him with fondness so many times over the years. As my boss at the SI Family Planning Clinic, Wil was always encouraging, knowledgeable and caring. He was an inspiration to me and others who worked with him, and I will never forget him -- especially his joyful laugh. My deepest sympathy to you. Jean Como

I was on the X1 bus stop reading the Advance at 11 am on the morning after the accident. I realized that the account on the front page had happened at the exact spot I was at, and some family members were wrapping flowers around a pole. I felt terrible for this family and especially the tall man who I supposed was the victims son.

It wasn't until reading the paper the next day that I realized the victim was someone I knew, and the son was Dave Innis. I didn't recognize Dave...

The Light shined bright through Mr. Innis, brighter than any man I know. As far back in my memory as I can go, all the way back to age 3 or 4, Mr. Innis was always so kind, so thoughtful, so caring, so upbeat, so energetic. Always smiling.
David, Wendy and Mrs. Innis, I send to you all the love, strength and comfort this universe has to offer. I love each of you dearly.

Madeline and Family,
It's been a long time since we have had contact with each other. It is unfortunate that it is under these circumstances. My heart goes out to you at this time and hope that all your family is with you at this time. God Bless... Pat McGill

Wil was a vibrant, energetic and extreamly thoughtful person. Every time I saw him he would have the biggest, bightest smile upon his face. Wil was so positive; when I was thinking about going into the nursing profession, he was so encouraging. I remember seeing him a few months ago and at that point in time I was a little frazzled by school and he gave me so many positive, encouraging words which will stick with me for the rest of my life. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts...
