Not sure what to say?

I was just reading an article about the qualities of great teachers and thought of Mr. Axton, who was one of my 8th grade teacher at Libby. He had a reputation for being a very hard teacher there, and he was at first, but taught me invaluable skills I use to this day! He was tough, but so very kind. I´m sorry to see he´s left us in this realm and hope his loved ones are comforted and inspired when they remember him. He was a true gem in this world and I was lucky to have him as my teacher.

Hey, Uncle, the Mariners are in 1st place!!!!!!! IYou are still in my heart sharing the joy of watching the boys excel. I am retired. School started without me today for the first time in 40 years. I would have loved to have your wisdom and advice for this transition. I will leave a message in the sand for you on the Oregon Coast in a few weeks as I search for sand dollars and remember your loving influence on us all.

50 years ago (1971-1972) I had Mr Axton as one of my 8th grade teachers. Just before we broke for Christmas break, he sang "The Christmas Song" to our class. There´s not been a Christmas since that I haven´t thought of him when when I hear that song. He was a wonderful teacher and a truly nice person.

Mr. Axon was the most kind, and gentle man I have ever known. He was my 8th grade U.S. History teacher at Libby Jr. High. The last time I saw Mr. Axon was at the Albertsons store on NW Boulevard. I looked over and glanced at him, and he said yes Ms. Conrow its me. After all it was quite a few years since I was in middle school. The fact he remembered my name was very impressive. What a kind man. He will be missed.

My condolences. I was one of his student teachers in the early 90's

Uncle Lynn was a true gentleman and a role model for all of us. He taught us how to stay positive in times of adversity, how to remain patient and calm in all circumstances, and how to love unconditionally. He was a blessing to all who knew him, a servant every day. I loved sharing teaching stories with him, horrible puns, and Mariners' scores. Rest in peace, Uncle. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Sorry for the loss in your family. I had him for a teacher at Libby. He was a great person and teacher. You will be in my prayers during this time.
