Wilburn O. "Buddy" Messer

I was, well am Buddy's youngest granddaughter. When he passed away I was only 19 years old and at the time I just learned I was pregnant after graduating high school. He was the first person I ever told as I was so scared to let him down because he raised me as if I was his own child as he did my siblings. Well many years have passed now since I was a scared 19 year old. I am 31 now and am a teacher. I have two children now aged 11 and 9. My oldest reminds me of my older sister who passed...

Buddy, What can say about you.. WOW what a voice... I know you were my friend and for that I am truly grateful.. I will miss our phone conversations and the advice you told me Miss you and Katherine very much. Thanks for laughter and also for everything. I love you and Katherine very much and love you both.
