Wilda Riggleman Triggs, age 75, of Winchester, Virginia, died Sunday, September 18, 2005, at her home.
Mrs. Triggs was born on July 20, 1930, in Purgitsville, West Virginia, the daughter of the late James O. Riggleman and Ethelyn R. Keirsey. She was a security guard for Doubleday Corporation, retiring after 25 years of service. She attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Her husband, George M. Triggs, Jr., preceded her in death in 1986.
Surviving are four children, Eleanor Dale Mowery, Diana Kline, and Gary A. Triggs all of Winchester and William Orndorff, Jr. of Bunker Hill, West Virginia; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Pricilla Boyer of Warrenton, Virginia, and Faye Mullenax of Bunker Hill, West Virginia; and five brothers, Jack Riggleman and Teddy Riggleman both of Frederick County, George Riggleman of Jarrett, Virginia, Doug Riggleman of Paw Paw, West Virginia, and Frank Riggleman of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by a son, George M. Triggs, III; a sister, Beulah Lind; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Reverend Stephen Rebert officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Wade Vance, John Vance, Eric Triggs, Sean Triggs, Paul Parker, Steve Beatley, Patricia Martin, Brandy Kline, and Wesley Thompson, Jr.
The family will receive friends at South Chapel on Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.
