Wildon Jonathan Clegg ROY - Wildon Jonathan Clegg passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010. He was born November 17, 1940, in Vineyard, Utah, the son of Joseph Heber and Ruth Scorup Clegg. He married Alice LaRue Shaffer on January 29, 1964 in Salt Lake City. Wildon received his Bachelors degree, Masters degree, and Teaching Certificate from Brigham Young University and a second Masters degree from the University of Phoenix. He taught special education for several years. He had 25 years of service at Boeing and was also employed at the Clearfield Job Corps. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and especially loved his involvement in the scouting program. Some of his special interests included music, fishing, and writing stories. He is survived by his wife, Alice; children: A. Gabrielle (Deloy) Simonson, Kerri (Michael) Moyes, Jonathan (Carrie Weber) Clegg, Sr., Jennifer L. Clegg, Blaine (Marci Dayhuff) Clegg, Mitchell A. Clegg, Taylor (Rachelle Mann) Clegg, Amyann Clegg, JoAnn R. Clegg, and 24 grandchildren; siblings: Jolene (Clayton) Peterson, LeAnn (Darrel) Rushton, Arla J. Clegg, J. Halvor (Miriam Webb) Clegg, and DaLee (David) James. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Marcie Noelle Clegg. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roy West Stake Center, 5080 S. 3100 W., Roy, Utah. Interment, Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street at 2:30 p.m. Provo, Utah. Funeral Directors, Myers Roy Mortuary.
